Today we look back at the weekend practices on Saturday and what our cast has endured to bring the message and life of Christ to a hurting world. The all day practice was physically draining and spiritually gratifying. We ran through the entire production twice. In a production that has so many moving parts and different elements, one would think going through a 2 hour show would require a lot of starts and stops. Thankfully, the preparation by the cast and crew over the last two weeks along with the anointing that has manifested over us allowed us to go through both runs without a major stop. The cast kept their energy up the whole time, even though many had practiced every other night for two months. The amount of sacrifice put into this production showed on the faces of everyone, but the spiritual authority of God in us all also showed.
Before each scene, it wasn't hard to find a subgroup of the cast and crew huddling in prayer and devotion. People shared the hurts and hardships they had faced upon joining the Above All cast. However, they also shared the triumphs and the blessings that God was providing. Throughout the POA Sanctuary, there were testimonial and prayer services happening constantly. It has been what has sustained us through this whole process. It will be what sustains us through to the end. A final note about the practices, KALB, the local news station in Alexandria, stopped by and did a report on Above All. We made the news that evening and you can watch that at the link here. As a result of seeing that advertisement, a group from Minnesota who are volunteering in the area have decided to come and witness Above All. We are so blessed to be able to carry our message to people who would never have come through our doors otherwise. We mentioned earlier that people were sharing their hurts at the practices. We have all faced things in some form or fashion since Above All has begun practicing. Whether circumstances of life, trials from God or attacks of the enemy, all of us have faced things upon committing to be Christ's witnesses. However, this cast has not wavered in its commitment to the production, to the church and to God Almighty. We will accomplish all that Christ has chosen to do in and through us. Because we are called to fulfill His purpose. Above All is that purpose. Our purpose. We hope that any of you who read these updates and can come will join us by getting tickets here. We recommend the 9th of April as there are still some good seats to get.
