We return after a weekend of performances to update everyone on how Above All has been doing and to provide some further insights into the production. Previously, we talked about how the benefit performances led to nearly 60 people receiving the Holy Ghost and a number of people getting baptized. This does not include the amount of people who came forward for healing and special touches from God who walked away better and at peace. Let's find out what happened when the main performances took place Full House = Intense Energy
Each night had massive crowds as we were sold out both Friday and Saturday and had a near full house on Sunday. With a crowd that size, you get a different feel than with a small group or half filled auditorium. The crowds were full of smiling and anticipating faces. They were ready to be entertained but many had come with more in their minds. They had heard the stories of this production. How lives had been changed over the past two years. Of how people had been healed and set free. Of how salvation is readily accessible when the Spirit of God is so present. The energy of these crowds did not hinder or deter us. It energized us. It carried us. We were excited because we had a multitude of people before us just as the Apostles Peter, John and Paul before us. We had the opportunity to witness with our words actions and reactions to the drama and what unfolded in each scene. With each blackout, our efforts were validated by the uproar in applause and cheers. People were excited and engaged. Not because of us alone, but God in us. An Audience Engaged When you can see people's eyes light up at the Triumphal Entry as Christ passes, you know people are ready to receive. When the crowd gasps at Jesus' actions in the Temple Cleansing, you know that they are locked in and accepting of what you have to offer. When they listen intently at the Last Supper, they are hearing the commands and promises of God Almighty. When they get upset along with you as you run from the Garden of Gethsemane screaming for Your Jesus, you know they are ready to take Jesus into their lives. These are just the reactions I could glimpse as a participant. From all reports the scenes of the scourging and crucifixion are just as powerful and engaging. Struggling But Not Stalling We have faced some struggles and hiccups at times. Lighting cues have not always been perfect, and lines haven't been always delivered with the best projection. However, one thing this cast has done is to pick each other up. No matter who makes the error, there is no finger pointing. Instead, we extend a friendly pat on the back and an arm around the shoulder and encourage them to not let it stall them in letting God use them further. We aren't here for our glory, but His! A misplaced prop or slightly out of position character will not hinder us. The Fruit of Engagement Each altar call during these nights has been packed with people expecting miracles, healing and salvation. It is so powerful that there are times where the person comes up already with stammering lips and weeping. When they are that broken and ready for Christ, all we have to do is say the prayer and lay hands and they are overcome and filled by the Spirit of Jesus Christ. What a powerful and amazing testimony, that if we will put forth effort, those who are willing to receive will get all they want and more. Because God isn't one to withhold his promises. They are yea and Amen. The promise has led to now approximately 100 people filled with the Holy Ghost (including the benefits). That's approximately 40 people saved in three main performances. Considering that this event is seen by many as an Easter Play coming in, it is so amazing to know that we are witnessing the outpouring of the Holy Ghost over so many souls. God is doing amazing things. We hope you join us this week if you don't already have tickets. Click here to get yours! Next Update This Wednesday, we will have a special update.
