More To Come You may have noticed that we have a BOTT page on the top of our site. It is a members only page that can be accessed for free by registering when you click on BOTT. You simply provide your name and email and you will be approved for access. Why do we want to create limited access? The Way is looking to gauge its viewer's interests. We plan on providing more free-to-access pages in the future as we cover more events and other items. Here are some of the ideas we have:
1. Book Club: We pick a book and the audience reads and we discuss it. There will be videos where I go over a concept and you will have the opportunity to comment on what was said, while also providing feedback which will be posted at a later date. The book would be read over the course of one month to six weeks depending on the the length of the text. 2. Special Topics: We engage in long and short running series here at The Way. One thing we may do in the future, though, is offer special topics designed for specific audiences. These topics would fall within our staffs line of expertise and would work to educate and empower interested participants in their pursuit of God's calling for their lives. 3. Special Events: This is what we are doing with BOTT. We take an event that we are attending and we cover it thoroughly and provide a view that isn't normally offered. You will get to see what it is like with BOTT this year if you sign up. We may make all of our content available at a later date with a small price tag so as to help fund the site and support missions. 4. Challenges: This was originally intended to be the first of the sign-up pages, but we wanted to cover BOTT thoroughly and didn't want to rush what we believe to be a breakthrough in going forth. We will use the power of the internet to offer specific challenges to interested parties to go into their communities and do the work of the Lord. We will also look to receive feedback for these challenges so as to share it within the group. So that is what we are looking to do starting in January. Compass will still be a huge part of The Way and you can expect our next series on Vision to start next week in January. Do you have any suggestions for our Compass or Sign-In Pages? Leave us a response in the comments section and we will take it into consideration. We look forward to seeing you then and hope you have a Happy New Year!

War and Peace We conclude our Odyssey through the seasons of life with two seasons that demand action from us. These two seasons will require all of the lessons we have learned from past seasons if we are to be successful in them. Our actions in these two seasons can drastically altar our lives and the lives of others around us. How? Find out below.
Love And Hate There are no two words that contrast each other more than Love and Hate. They oppose each other in thinking, feeling and action and work to shape our perspective on everything we experience in life. Today, we look at when it is appropriate to express these powerful emotions and what results from their expression.
Speak We last looked at the benefits of keeping silent. Today, we look at what happens when we get the opportunity to speak. When is it appropriate to open up our mouths and what benefits do we and others get from our utterances?
Keep SilenceThere are times when we need to speak out, to stand up for what we believe in and confess our faith. However, there are times when silence is necessary. We look at this concept today and how it can help us to progress in Christ.
The Way is interested in getting us all on the right track spiritually, but we also recognize the need to take care of our bodies in the physical. A healthy body allows us to be more effective in our calling because we are more alert, more energized and we live longer when we do. That is why The Way is taking time of its schedule to recommend Beach Body to our loyal readers. They are the same people who brought you P90x but they also offer a wide variety of exercise and nutrition programs. To find out more, simply click the link provided here and you'll be taken to a secure website. From there you can click on the Get Fit tab or the Shop tab on the top banner, and check out what Beach Body has to offer. We are specifically promoting this coach because she is the one who mentioned Beach Body to us and we love it
Rending and Sewing We ask you to review our A Time To Rend and A Time To Sew lessons. Take a look at these two lessons and let us know your thoughts on them. Post your responses in the comments below. Which season do you feel like you are experiencing right now? Do you have stories from your past experiences in these seasons? Let us know and let your testimony encourage the hundreds of visitors to The Way.
Sew We continue our study through the seasons of Ecclesiastes 3 by looking past the season of rending to the next season: sewing. What will God do with us once we've opened our lives up to him and separated ourselves out for Him to do as He pleases? Taking our bare life and making it new again
When we've opened ourselves up the transforming power of Christ, God is going to make something special out of us. He's going to create something wonderful and amazing in our lives that will bless us, Him and all those with whom we come in contact. God guarantees this in the second to last chapter of the Bible: Behold, I make all things new. (Revelation 21:5) In one of the last statements made by God in the written Word, we find him making a promise to his people. He makes all things new. When we rend our lives before God, that is a sign that we are starting over from scratch. To tear up your life-or at least parts of it-for the sake of Christ and His Kingdom is a monumental sacrifice. However, God clearly guarantees that he isn't going to leave us in tatters. He's going to make us new and wonderful, but there are a couple of things we must do if we are to be sewn properly. Let the tailor work When we send off some clothes to be worked on by a tailor, we can get frustrated when they take longer than we think is necessary. Why should it take so long? It's just a couple of inches here and a seam there. However, allowing the tailor time to do the work properly will ensure that we get our clothes back with the right fit. We've put the tattered garments in the hands of God and we need to trust that He is going to put it together in the best way and in the right time. Not only is God going to deliver us into our calling, purpose and opportunity in the right moment; He's going to make sure it's the perfect fit for us, too. We just need to be patient and wait on the Lord, knowing that He is faithful to deliver: Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations; (Deuteronomy 7:9) Do What God Wills God may be the master tailor, but He wants us to get involved in the process, too. God wants us to see the fruit of our labors in His Kingdom so that we will be encouraged in Him. He also wants us to see what happens when we trust His will and do as He says. When that happens, it will become a testimony to us of His true and amazing power because we will have seen it done as we labor in the fields. Our first hand knowledge will strengthen our understanding of how great and wonderful He is. Moreover, it will result in a positive mindset to continue to work in His will and ways: I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart. (Psalm 40:8) So if I will be patient and let God work out my situation and life, He will be sure to deliver on time what best fits me in my calling at the moment. Also, when I choose to do God's will, He'll give me opportunities to assist Him that will open my eyes up to His great and wonderful ways. This will be a testimony that will carry me through for the rest of my life. RendWe return to our A Time To Series with a look at what it means to rend and how that can actually draw us closer to God. Find out below.
