BOTT Final Review and TWTL Forecast The entire event at BOTT was amazing. There were excellent sermons and mighty moves of God. The sermons, while not coordinated beforehand, all seemed to flow together in a symphonic call to unified action. The moves of God that constantly followed/led into messages proved the value and uniqueness of this conference. No other conference has moves of the Spirit like BOTT coupled with messages that resonate and offer Truth plainly. Today, we examine the conference as a whole and forecast its effects on the church throughout the next year. These forecasts are not prophetic or discernment in actions. They are simply a hopeful projection of what could be for the following year. We hope you enjoy : 1. The year the youth movement finally arrives
For years we’ve heard great men and women of God call for the youth to take ownership of the church and lead it into the next generation. However, the talk has often given way to the same (very anointed) leaders take the lead when it comes to action in the church and our communities. This is not an indictment on either side. However, there has been a need for younger involvement in action and anointing in services and community outreach. Pastor Anthony’s sermon did not just endorse this needful transition, but pushed it to the forefront. Reverend Cunningham put a final stamp on this issue when he had all of the youth head to the platform at the end of the conference and had the current and past leaders anoint them in prayer. Throughout the conference, there were references to this need, but these two sermons and the push by these two leaders of the faith pressed the issue. It’s one we are looking forward to become a reality this year. 2. Defeat the Devil and overcome the issues of life. Sister Vesta addressed Satan directly in her sermon. Rev. Terry Shock pushed for a reduction in “life distractions” while increasing our involvement in God’s Kingdom. He proclaimed the need to pursue the Peace of God in the midst of the chaos of this life. Elias Limones told us that building by our means will lead us to fruitlessness and frustration. We must have the hand of God leading and guiding us to develop His Kingdom in our communities and lives. This year will see the church start assaulting the strongholds of Satan and brushing off the cares and concerns of this life in our pursuit of the blessings and enrichment of God Almighty. 3. Working together better than ever before. Brother Bernard talked about the need to build a house as a unified body, calling us all stones that fit together. Reverend Gurley called us to get unified in our voice even with our different talents and strengths. Sister Vesta mentioned how this generation we live in must be unified in all ages, races and demographics. Rev. Cunningham called us the Apostolic Church and what we do together can shake and change the world around us. Rev. Webber proclaimed all that the Holy Ghost was doing across denominations and how we must work with other churches to help them understand the truth they are experiencing. This year will see a greater connectivity among the Body of Christ and a reduction of “island” living that leads to isolation and division. 4. The Truth of God will spread like never before A myriad of examples were given of how the truth of Oneness, Baptism in Jesus Name and the infilling of the Holy Ghost. However, these will not just reports that reassure us this year. They will be examples that inspire and convict us to do the same. Individuals, small groups and churches will be more involved than ever before in reaching the lost and educating those who are coming into truth. Discipleship will be a key tool utilized by many this year and that will result an expansion of the truth and the Kingdom like we’ve never seen before. 5. Moves of God occurring in greater depths. Throughout the conference, various moves of God consistently took place. The thing was, they kept getting stronger and deeper. Typically something we see at the end of a conference, Pastor’s sermon on Tuesday ended with a mighty move that saw young people moving throughout the auditorium laying hands on people. From there, moves of the Holy Ghost broke out every session and between every sermon and song. People weren’t waiting for the appropriate moment. They were letting God move on them when God saw fit. This resulted in wave after wave of the Spirit. People were refreshed and emboldened by the end of this conference. If we take it with us, it won’t be something that was just for a few days. It will last the entire year. This is our year to see mighty moves of God and unified action that leads to greater blessings and a harvest of souls. It’s going to take action on our part and openness to God to see it happen. However, if we buy in and turn ourselves over to Him, we’ll see the greatest year the Church has ever experienced, not just in the last hundred years, but in the entirety of its existence. We’ll be back next week with a preview of what’s up next from TWTL Ministries. Until then, God Bless and Keep Searching. We'll also have a YouTube video talking more about our thoughts in the next couple of days so head on over and subscribe to our channel in advance.
