We continue our review of the LOGOS series at The Pentecostals of Alexandria in Alexandria, LA. This week the group examined creation, the story of Noah and took a peek at Abraham. Find out what was expressed below.
We've come to the final beatitude in our series of devotions. All of the beatitudes are important, but none gets the amount of attention from Jesus as persecution. Of all the beatitudes, only persecution gets two scriptures devoted to it. Only persecution gets further analysis. Why did Christ break from his crisp delivery on this beatitude? We'll examine this and more over the next five weeks. In order to prepare for this devotion series, we have some tasks for you to do:
In case you missed it, head over to our first entry in the A Time To Series. We discussed the basics around the spiritual seasons in our lives, what to expect with them and how we should respond. With this series, we wanted to get your feedback. We have included a poll and survey for you to offer your thoughts and ideas for the series. You can also leave us extra feedback in the comment section. All of these options are completely confidential. We simply want to help make The Way a more connected and interactive place for you to get inspiration for your daily life. We look forward to hearing from you.
Understand The Seasons
We begin this series with an introduction to the spiritual seasons. Everything we will go through in this series deals with the ebb and flow of the Spirit. There are seasons and times in which the Spirit operates. We are going to spend this week making sure we are active and serving in God in these seasons so as to get the most out of the Spirit.
Normally, we have a video prepared to hype our latest foray into study. This time, however, we will give our readers something different. In this preview you will get to see a complete breakdown of what The Way is looking to do for the rest of the year in the Activation and Service sections of the website. You will also get to see how you can get involved. We hope you enjoy the preview.
It's All About Action
It's our last segment of the Wisdom series. We finish up Chapter 31 of Proverbs this week with an examination of the final 12 verses. In these verses we get a clearer description of what Wisdom is to us, does for us and works through us. We hope you enjoy.
